What is an annual investment limit and why do I have one?

An annual investment limit is a limit set by provincial regulators to help protect investors that participate in the exempt market.  All new Lenders are automatically classified as non-eligible investors during initial registration. Lenders are able to modify their investor classification which may increase their investment limit. In order to do so, please contact the Loop Securities team and provide the appropriate documentation.
